It was a beautiful Election Day 2010 and this gave Scraps and Rags the opportunity to both go vote and take a nice long walk to and from the dog park. It’s 1.3 miles each way, but it gave me a chance to enjoy the colors and even photograph a hawk in a tree on the way home. Unfortunately, the dogs can’t vote, is that right? and as Bailey’s fathers was discussing, therefore they have no hope of ever getting government sponsored health care coverage. It’s a wacky dog-eat-dog world out there so stay on your paws out there.
When we arrived at the dog park at 12:45 it wasn’t too crowded but I did get the opportunity to meet and welcome Bosco the black, not brown, fluffy dog to the blog. There was also Ziva the black dog who I didn’t really meet but was able to read his name off his tag. While only there for 45 minutes we got lots of good photographs of the dogs, so check them out.
