2010-10-09 – Central Dog Park on a Sunny Afternoon

Saturday of this weekend turned out to be as nice as Friday was yesterday. The big difference is we were able to take our time and enjoy several hours in the dog park on a sunny afternoon. Scraps and Rags first hung out with a handful of small dogs in the small dog park before heading over to where the big guys were. There we did a couple of laps and watched many dogs come and go. There were large numbers at the park around 3:00 with many dogs playing and running. It looked like a good time to me for most dogs there.

We met a few new dogs including the Dachshund named Jackson and a Jack Russell named Harley. With so many Harleys in the dog-eat-dog world, we will call this one HarleyJack.

2010-09-17 – Central Dog Park from Dusk till Closing

It was the end of a long week where Scraps and Rags were working like dogs, so they enjoyed the nice relaxing bicycle ride over to the Central Park dog park where there were lots of other dogs also thanking G-d it was Friday. Scraps and Rags first hung out in the small dog park where we saw Max the puppy collie come into the park and play with the dogs. I even ran a lap with him while he was nibbling at my side pocket. he’s getting big fast. It was a bit dark for good pictures but I got what I got. We also saw the cute little Lenny who we saw a long time ago at the Denvilledog park but this was the first time we have seen him here.

We then headed into the big dog park where we saw a Great Dane and Scraps found his boyfriend Patches. We did a nice walk around the the trail and then biked on home. An enjoyable Friday evening and we all look forward to some weekend fun at the dog park as the weather is looking mighty fine.

2010-06-03 – Denville Dog Park Before Sunset

Scraps and Rags arrived at the park at 5:30, early for them. There was a new dog, Lenny as well as Darby and a medium-sized black dog I have seen before but don’t know the name. He is now known as ?-dog to me until someone tell me something else. Later on Phoebe showed up and then Buddy, Lily, Molly, Yoshi, Goji and new dogs to the blog including Rusty and Sonny. The big dogs played while Rags barked at them. Fun was had by all.
