2010-06-29– Denville Dog Park – Crowded After Sunset

Scraps and Rags arrived after sunset so we missed the glow of dusk and the opportunity for warm pictures.  I therefore present tonight’s activities in black and white to mask the lack of sunshine.  What we lost in light we made up in mass.  There were lots of dogs there on this comfortable evening including four new ones to the blog including Maya, Chester, Mattie and Harley (the small).

2010-06-24– Denville Dog Before and After Sunset

After a hot and humid day, the dog park proved to be quite a comfortable place to hang after the sun began to set.  The big new addition, and I do mean big, was Milo the St Bernard.  He was quite mellow but he had something about him that made other dogs like Rags and Harley bark at him.  It must be the “new dog in the park syndrome.”  Unfortunately, by the time Jax, Murphy and Harley arrived it was getting dark and I didn’t get any good pictures of these dogs.  Goes to show you have to get there when the light is shining right.

2010-06-18– Denville Dog Park Just Before Sunset

New to the DenvilleDogPark.com blog tonight is Moose.  After being out with his broken dew claw injury from the other night, Scarps made his reappearance at the dog park.

2010-05-31 – Denville Dog Park – iPhone Camera Shots

Last picture taken on my good camera, the rest are with my iPhone.

When Scarps and Rags arrived at the dog park at 5:30 there was no one there.  I took 5 pictures with my camera and realized I used up all my battery power during the day’s kayak trip on Monksville Reservoir.  Actually, I left the camera on and wasted the battery, but that’s another story.

Scraps and Rags were playing by alone then Darby arrived, followed by Ollie and Grace.  Oh well, I had no pictures to take so I figured there would be no blog posting tonight.  Then a new dog to me and the blog came, Lily the brown-patched poodle?  I therefore wanted to get some pictures so I broke out the iPhone to capture a few moments.  That is my excuse for the bad quality pictures and no link to an external web album with additional photos.  Until next time when I’ll have full battery power and better pictures.
